Walen Construction (formerly known as Lanphere Construction and Development) was founded by Bob Lanphere Jr. in 2008 with the idea that teamwork, communication, and focusing on the client are essential to produce a fantastic final product. In 2018, Tyler Mildren and David Wales joined Bob as co-owners of the company, changing the name to create Walen Construction. Specializing in commercial construction, Walen has completed countless projects, with retail, industrial, office, and automotive at the forefront of our expertise.

Walen founded originally as LCD by Bob Lanphere.”
“David comes on board
David Wales joined LCD as a Project Manager.”
“Tyler Mildren joins the team
Tyler joined LCD as a Project Manager.”
“LCD Becomes Walen
Tyler Mildren and David Wales become owners and LCD begins to operate under Walen Construction.”
“Moved to Wilsonville Location
Flagship office moves from Beaverton to Wilsonville.”
“Walen Purchases Russell Construction
Walen Construction, expands and introduces construction services previously not offered, by purchasing Russell Construction. The merger with Russell Construction brought 30 years of expertise and relationships, in addition to added manpower to the Walen team.”
“Moved to Portland location
As the team continues to grow, the office is once again relocated, this time to Portland.”
